- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; can consider under 2 years depending on experience, 1.5 years hard stop. Separately noted minimum 1 year required. 2. Cases: Labor and delivery including labor, induction, preeclampsia, TOLAC, VBAC, multiples, preterm labor, antepartum, high-risk antepartum. No tubal ligation. Sterile vaginal exams and triage are hard stop requirements; must perform independently without supervision. 3. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (hard stop — must have for PASS designation), BLS/BCLS, NRP; all required at submission. 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand at time of submission; pending license not accepted. LA fire card within the last 30 days required (not reimbursed). 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic experience required (hard stop). Charting system listed as Meditech on hospital highlights; Epic listed as required in job requirements. 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required. Must be open to working weekends — every other, may exceed to meet unit need. Facility may call off once per two-week pay period. Float required to Mother Baby and potentially all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination. 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission. Maximum 7 days (anything more requires client approval). Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months. Must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission. Scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered. 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals accepted at lower bill rate. Bill rate is firm. 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at time of submission. No open license hits will be approved. 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; over 20 hours requires PM approval. Completed pre-start and annually; self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts. 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted. 14. Scrubs: L&D scrubs provided by facility. RN general color is Royal Blue. 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown. 16. Special Equipment: 2 ORs. Critical: AWHONN Advanced is a hard stop — do not screen or pass without it. Sterile vaginal exams and triage are hard stop requirements. Must perform sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision. Expert experience required. SSN and DOB required. 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required during compliance process prior to start. Can only submit to one Providence facility at a time.
