- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Must have both L&D and Couplet Care experience; LDRP experience required; antepartum, Mother/Baby, C-Section circulation, and PACU recovery experience also required; triage preferred 3. Certifications: Required: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS (BCLS), FHM, NRP, STABLE; Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced; all certifications must be in hand at submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis and SBAR also used on unit 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15; 36 hours offered; call may be required if low census; occasional float possible but not frequent; 8 weekend shifts per contract 8. RTO: RTO after booking is NOT allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancel and DNR; schedule may accommodate pre-approved time off depending on timing; only one pre-approved RTO noted 9. Pre-Start Modules: Orientation is 24 hours total; hospital orientation week plus two 12-hour shifts on unit; traveler must be available for classes each day 13.
