- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have full labor and delivery experience and postpartum experience 2. Cases: High-risk unit caring for healthy to acutely ill childbearing women; conditions include hypertensive disorders, placenta previa, abruption, accreta, uterine rupture, precipitous birth, uterine atony, coagulopathies, cardiac disease, substance use, and diabetes; HARD STOP — clinician will be required to work ALL areas: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Well Baby, Transitions, Antenatal, and Circulate in OR 3. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP required; copies of all certs must be sent at time of submission 4. License: Pending license not accepted; map directions from permanent address on license to facility required at time of submission 5. Education: 7 years of work history required (8/2015-present), including PTO, medical leave, non-clinical work, and schooling; degree information required: area of study, city and state of institution, and type of degree for all degrees earned 6. EMR: Epic strongly preferred, especially for RNs; charting system experience listed as required; willing to consider no Epic experience for difficult-to-fill positions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12, 1900-0730; no on-call required; float required to CPO sitter in-house and northern campus (Madras) low-risk family birthing unit; minimum of every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts per contract; staffs to AWHONN Staffing Standards with break RNs and Resource RNs 8. RTO: 7-day RTO restriction; any candidate who cancels with less than 14 days notice will be entered as a system DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; locals not accepted; proof of address and map directions from permanent address to facility required at submission 11. Background: Not specified 12.
