- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years IR experience required; 1 year Neuro experience required (or solid Neuro experience inside a general ICU) 2. Cases: Cerebral Angiography, Carotid Angiography, Neurologic Thrombolysis, Vertebroplasty, CVA, aneurysms, myelograms, lumbar puncture (spine and brain related injuries); candidate must self-grade 3 or 4 in each; Vascular and Neuro Interventional Radiology; Neuro IR procedure experience required; pediatric patients seen on average once per week 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required; compliance exams required include EKG Onboarding, Advanced Math, Med/Pharmacology, Conscious Sedation, Interventional Radiology Competency, General ICU Competency, General ICU skills, Interventional Radiology skills, CORE exams 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 10-hour shifts; call required 1730-0700 one to two nights per week; weekend call Friday 1730-Monday 0700 one to two weekends per six-week schedule; 30-minute response time required; candidate self-schedules with manager having final approval 8.
