- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Neuro ICU experience preferred at a Level I Trauma facility 2. Cases: Stroke, SAH, SDH, EDH, IVH, SCI, DAI, TBI, Brain Tumors; must have experience with ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, and EVD; Licox experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG required; onboarding exams include Advanced Math, Med/Pharmacology, General ICU competency, Neuro Competency, General ICU skills, Neuro ICU skills, and CORE exams 4. License: KY or compact RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Must be able to work weekends and holidays; float required to units 51 Stroke/Neuro Universal, 52 EMU/Neuro Universal, 7M Neuro Universal, and other ICUs outside the neurosciences service line; weekend coverage required; 6 weekend shifts per contract; orientation is 24 hours 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off slots noted; must work 3 of 5 winter holidays 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Local travelers within 100 miles are NOT accepted at this facility 11. Background: Not specified 12.
