- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 3 years ICU-specific hospital experience preferred; minimum one successful travel assignment required 2. Cases: CRRT, cardiac surgery, CABG, respiratory failure with vent management, DKA, altered mental status, multiple drips management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required 4. License: Valid Oklahoma or Compact License required at submission; no pending licenses accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience REQUIRED (hard requirement); must be noted next to each assignment on profile 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 shifts, minimum 4 weekend shifts in 4-week period; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 5 days in 13-week assignment; no holidays; no additional RTO after submittal or during contract 9. Returning Staff: Must note if return traveler; former OSUMC employees must be disclosed 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate as travelers; no first-time travelers 11. Background: No background or license hits allowed 12. Modules: 3-4 hours average, non-billable, required pre-start, recorded via transcripts or completion certificates 13. Travel Experience: Yes - minimum one successful travel assignment required 14. Scrubs: Varies by unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Central lines, arterial lines, CVP monitoring, ventilators, IABP, Impella, Swan Ganz monitoring Critical: Must commit to lab work within 48-72 hours of signing. Zero-fault attendance policy (3 missed shifts may result in cancellation). Float to Med Surg/ER with 1:5 ratios. One reference from manager/supervisor within past year required.
