- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months MICU experience required; 2 years preferred 2. Cases: MICU; skills include management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, ETT/NT suctioning, isolation precautions/PPE 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required at time of submittal (AHA or Red Cross); NIHSS must be obtained prior to start 4. License: Pending license NOT accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Will float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition — within 20 miles); block schedule not accommodated 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; RTO added later will likely not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
