- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Trauma Intensive Care Unit; multi-disciplinary ICU with fresh hearts (travel RNs will not take fresh cases) 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC required; ACLS required by compliance deadline for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location 4. License: MO or compact license (submit without license OK for MO); IL license required in hand at submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week available; every other weekend required; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ days requires manager approval, along with holiday RTO); no new RTO after submission; no RTO first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted within 75-mile radius; no local travelers allowed except for PCTs, CNAs, and MAs 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; required for RNs; must start within 1 week of signed contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13.
