Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience 2. Cases: High acuity Neuroscience ICU; subarachnoid hemorrhage, post-surgical craniotomy care, ICP crises, ischemic stroke, status epilepticus, and other neuroscience populations; bedside EVD placement, bedside lumbar drain placement and management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; CCRN or CNRN preferred; ENLS and BSN preferred; all certs must be in hand at submission 4. License: Pending license accepted if application has been submitted and received by the licensing board 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights; no call required; floating within hospital required (CVICU, MICU, TSICU); no floating to sister hospitals; weekend requirement is yes; block schedule not accommodated 8. RTO: Traveler must work two of three holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day); approved time off exceeding five days must be added to the end of the contract to ensure a full 13-week assignment; all time off requests must be outlined at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation is 24 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Candidates missing any required skills should be screened prior to submission. Parking cost is $15 daily.
