- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Cardiac drips (no vasopressors) required; management and interpretation of dysrhythmias required; RNs must read and interpret their own strips; neurosurgical and general surgery, neuro trauma, ortho trauma, sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure; MS/Tele and/or PCU work history needed 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; ATCN and BSN preferred 4. License: Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license required; can be submitted with pending license 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, 7PM-7AM; no on-call required; weekends as needed; guaranteed 36 hours/week; facility may call off up to 6 times during a 13-week assignment 8. RTO: Unit manager approval required 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: RNs can wear any scrub color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: ICP monitoring and Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring preferred; hospital has a VAT that assists with difficult IVs; float expectations required — must be willing to float to Critical Care Units (ICU and PCU), MS TELE Units (Humphrey, 3 North, 3 West, Kendrick, and 2 East), and Cardiac Monitoring Room; floating frequency dependent on unit census and could be often Critical: Candidates missing required skills must be screened prior to submission. BCMA compliance expected per facility standards.
