- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent ICU experience required; Surgical ICU / Trauma ICU / Burn ICU / Transplant ICU experience preferred 2. Cases: Trauma, Transplant, Burn, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, Colorectal Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Overflow Medical/Neuro ICU patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be obtained prior to submission 4. License: Ohio RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; medication systems include Pyxis / Accudose / Omnicell; communication via SBAR 7. Shifts/Call: Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 36 hours/week; every other weekend; floating required to different units within the OSU organization as needed; call required 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Unit is a Level I trauma center and burn center for the tri-state area. Daily burn dressings performed by trained burn nurses. Procedures include CRRT, bedside trachs/pegs/bronchoscopy/endoscopy, line placement assistance, and transport to CT/MRI/fluoroscopy.
