- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Float to PCU (1:5) and MS (1:7) as often as needed; skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, CVA/acute stroke management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, continuous IV sedation, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and others as listed 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS noted with asterisk; all certifications must be AHA 4. License: State license required and must be in-hand at time of submission 5. Education: BSN required for international travelers 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36/36 schedule; 4 weekend shifts per schedule period; no call; general orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs; hospital may cancel/call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty due to census decrease 8. RTO: Must be included with submission 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius requirement; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 4-5 hours; completed during orientation and included in NBO; recorded via electronic transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted 14.
