Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (ICU experience); 18 months minimum per facility policy 2. Cases: Heavy Medical ICU with some surgical patients, mainly GI or carotids; 24/7 Cath Lab admissions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; NIH preferred 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner charting system required 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 ratios; weekend coverage required (varies/flexible); no on-call required; will float to AAU, MS, and PCU (ratios become 1:4) 8. RTO: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; can auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO 9. Returning Staff: Former IU employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract break policy applies after 12 months employment 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals NOT accepted for ICU positions; out-of-state residents require 3-month break, in-state residents require 6-month break 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission for approval 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Red top, black bottoms 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC Critical: Floating 100% required to all travelers. SSN and DOB required at submittal. Two supervisor references required. Guaranteed hours vary by shift type.
