- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred; must have experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, Post-op Cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT 2. Cases: DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators; mixed cardiac and medical ICU 3. Certifications: BLS from AHA required; ACLS from AHA required 4. License: RN License in state of employment or compact 5. Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: Days 7AM-7PM; every other weekend required; no call; no floating; 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available; overtime not billable until after 48 hours 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Modules: New Nurses Orientation required within first 30 days; precepted by designated trained staff member; completion of organizational entry competency validation and Critical Care Department-specific competency validation required 13.
