- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers not accepted; previous travel experience required 2. Cases: Float pool role covering ICU, ED, and Med/Surg; para/thoracentesis, intubation, central line placement, art line placement, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; NIH and TNCC preferred; all certifications/licensure must be sent with submission; must be in hand at time of submittal 4. License: Compact license accepted; pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: MediTech Expanse; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: On-call not required; every other weekend required; float to sister facility 15 minutes away as needed; guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week on 12-hour rule, 40 hrs/week on 8 or 10-hour rule 8. RTO: Maximum 1 request; finalized RTO must be sent at time of submission; no RTO within first two weeks of start date; no more than 10 days total; no full calendar weeks of RTO accepted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; will float to sister facility approximately 15 minutes away 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation hours: 12 13.
