- Unit Notes:Notes Updated: 6/7/23 Unit Hospice- All hospice no home health Miscellaneous Info & Examples if Needed Required Certifications no In addition to a valid Drivers License & Insurance Common diagnosis / Types of patients/patient demographics Patients at the end of life, mostly adults. Peds and adults? Additional Job Duties/Utilization Review involved? no RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) no Experience or 'Must have' skills end of life How many patients do they see per day? They will be working on a hospice unit. The ratio is one nurse to 6 patients. They would do 3 shifts a week. Epic charting Do you use a point system? How many points a day/week?
