Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation – Every other
Holiday Expectations: 3 of 5 major (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Years Day)

Requirements:

• WA License
• 1 year strong ED experience
• General ED experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration, procedural sedation, blood administration, cardiac medications
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI/MOAB
• Traveler Competency Exam

Other Details:

• Traveler Telemetry Competency Required 
• EMR: Epic
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication dispensing system: Pyxis
• Central and bedside Telemetry monitoring at the nursing station; no tele tech
• First-time traveler: No
• Patient types from peds to geriatrics
• Trauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI, Stroke, DKA, mental health, respiratory issues, Adult Psych, chest pain
• Patient Ratios: 1:4, Can flex 1:5 if low acuity patient
• Floating: None
• Scrub Color: Any scrub colors, as long it is professional
