- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of RN experience with ED experience required — FIRM 2. Cases: Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred; continuous IV sedation experience preferred; triage experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required; CPI preferred; copies must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: CA RN License required and must be in hand at time of submission; BSN required for all RN positions 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic; refer to unit details on whether required or preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour variable shifts; straight days requests will not be considered; must have ability to float to other UCSF facilities; may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility within 75+ radius 8. RTO: All RTO must be disclosed at time of submittal; requires manager approval at time of offer; no additional requests accepted mid-contract; RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of start; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Any prior employment with any University of California medical facility or acquired facilities must be included in employment history with dates worked, units worked, and manager names for a rehire eligibility check with HR 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rates as travel; travel pairs allowed but generally not on the same unit; married couples may not work on the same unit 11. Background: Not specified 12.
