- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; will consider 2-3 years if candidate has Level I Trauma Center experience and at least one travel assignment; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Level I Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke Center, MI Center, Comprehensive Cardiac Center, Behavioral Health, Fast Track; all ranges of acuity from minor to critical care 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI, NIHSS, TNCC also listed; must pass Relias EKG exam prior to start 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; no on-call requirement; only Friday-Sunday block schedule available; no weekday block schedule; no floating outside scope; patient ratios 4:1 with occasional flex to 5:1 (low acuity areas may be 6:1; critical areas 2:1 or 3:1) 8. RTO: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; 75-mile radius rule 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation is 36 hours; Relias EKG exam must be passed 13. Travel Experience: Required; previous travel assignment preferred for candidates with less than 3 years of experience 14.
