Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Emergency Department cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac conditions, psychiatric holds, procedural sedation, and varied patient diagnoses 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC required (must be current American Heart Association); CPI needed starting January 2026; copies required with submission 4. License: MO RN or Compact required at time of submission 5. Education: Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher on lethal rhythms 6. EMR: Cerner experience required, no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 hour days; every other weekend required; at least 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays; patient ratio 4:1 8. RTO: Required for submission 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone for at least 1 year 10. Travel/Local: No local radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; candidates may float to all competent units within facility 11. Background: Client approves background hits on case by case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable; ED requires 4 hours; completed pre-start via HealthStream; timely completion required throughout assignment 13. Travel Experience: Required, no exceptions; no first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Varied Critical: CEUs required ASAP - ED placements need 4 stroke, 8 trauma, and 4 cardiac CEUs. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical exemptions only. Orientation is 36 hours starting Tuesday.
