- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year ED experience required 2. Cases: All acute emergencies including trauma, stroke, and STEMIs from all ages of life; Trauma Level II experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; AHA preferred; Military acceptable; No ARC (American Red Cross) 4. License: TX RN License required; State Issued ID required prior to submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required to be considered 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; patient ratio 4:1 days, nights, and weekends; orientation is 12 hours 8. RTO: No more than 5 non-consecutive days; during holiday season (Nov-Jan), only one holiday RTO approved; all RTO approved by management prior to signing contract and listed in Work Order Confirmation 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 90-mile radius defines local; local candidates accepted at lower BR ($70 local rate) 11. Background: SSN and DOB required prior to submission 12. Modules: Average 8-12 hours; pre-start modules are billable; modules completed during orientation are non-billable; recorded in Healthstream; annual modules required 13.
