- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required, but will consider 1 year with screening; will accept first-time traveler with strong ER skills 2. Cases: All diagnoses in fast-paced ED setting with complex diagnoses that vary; all age ranges from infant to geriatric 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI required; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; CPI certification required with Calm Every Storm online version as only acceptable online vendor; NRP or AAP accepted 4. License: RN MD state license or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights (19:00-07:30), every other weekend required, holidays required as scheduled, floating required within specialty, no pre-scheduled on-call requirements 8. RTO: Max 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week must be added to back end on new contracts; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away at least 6 months from system after assignment completion 10.
