- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Department required; candidates with ICU and ED experience will also be considered 2. Cases: Emergency Room; facility includes chest pain center, stroke center, cardiac, oncology, and surgical services 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC required; all required certifications must be in hand prior to start 4. License: RN license for Virginia (Danville, VA facility) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Primarily MedHost (ED); Meditech used for admit holds (EMAR only) and behavioral health patients 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours weekly guaranteed; rotating weekends as needed; no call requirements; float as needed 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel; local rate is $51.00 11.
