- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required; no first-timers accepted; no neuro ICU experience accepted 2. Cases: High acuity CVICU/CCU; ventilator management, arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter management, pacemakers, Impella, balloon pumps, LVADs, acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia, vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, dialysis, foley, intra-aortic balloon pumps 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN required; must pass Relias EKG exam prior to start 4. License: Pending license accepted; state-specific license not explicitly named 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; no on-call required; floats within service line when needed; guaranteed 36 hours; 16 weeks preferred, 13 weeks accepted 8. RTO: Up to 2 requests allowed; no more than 40 hours (5 days) total time off during contract; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12.
