- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital; first-time travelers not accepted unless they have 2 years at a Level I Academic Medical Center 2. Cases: Cardiovascular ICU patients including stable heart and lung transplants, ventricular assist devices (LVADs/RVADs), Impella, and ECMO patients; drips required on all floors 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; NIHSS listed; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated but ACLS/BLS noted); Trauma Level I experience required, Trauma Level II preferred 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7.
