Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (must have 2 years experience in large, urban hospital) 2. Cases: CVICU patients including stable heart and lung transplants, ventricular assist devices, and ECMO patients 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NIHSS; must be AHA 4. License: Nebraska RN License; pending license accepted but booking will be 6 weeks out if not in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in 4-week period; must work 2 of 3 major holidays 8. RTO: Up to two weeks permitted; must be submitted with application; no RTO during first week of orientation; RTO Blackout Dates: 6/11/26 - 6/22/26 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals NOT accepted; candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility 11. Background: Do not submit for Radiology or Respiratory with license hits 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers NOT accepted (will consider if traveler has 2 years experience at Level I Academic Medical Center) 14. Scrubs: Mandatory steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logo on back 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16.
