- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years CVICU experience required; fresh hearts experience required 2. Cases: CVICU cases required; fresh hearts (post cardiac surgery directly from OR); Trauma Level I and II experience preferred 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS noted 4. License: Kentucky RN license or compact license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 patient ratios; every other weekend required; 36/48 schedule for two-week pay period; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated; orientation is bi-weekly 8.
