- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers with strong CVICU skill/experience 2. Cases: Cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias/heart blocks, MI, pulmonary hypertension, advanced therapy workups (LVAD, heart transplants), mechanical support devices (IABP, Impella), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, hypertensive urgency/emergency, STEMI team call coverage 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS required; CCRN preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: RN MD state license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (19:00-07:30); every other weekend required; holidays required as they fall; floating required within specialty to ICU, Cardiac PCU, and lower acuity units as needed; on-call may be required 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation is 24 hours 13.
