- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting System Experience preferred; Epic mentioned in unit systems 7. Shifts/Call: 10 hr x 4 days a week 0730-1800, some early shift 0630-1700; 1 night call per week 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (within 50 miles) accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: IV infusion pumps, External Compression Devices (C-Clamp, Sandbags), Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Topical Hemostasis devices Critical: Must go into lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. 24-hour orientation required. Float as needed. 1 weekend every other month required.
