- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; minimum 1 year of EP experience required; Level I Trauma experience required; interventional scrub experience required; high volume/high acuity Cath Lab experience needed 2. Cases: AMI, Chest pain, Heart failure, NSTEMI, Aortic Stenosis, V-Tach, Endocarditis, Afib, Peripheral vascular disease, Sick sinus syndrome; RN Circulator in diagnostic and interventional PCI environment; conscious sedation, sterile supply handoff, vitals assessment, EPIC documentation; cross-training to run hemodynamics in monitor tech role 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; ACLS must be obtained by compliance hard document deadline; certifications not required at time of submittal unless noted; must pass Relias EKG exam 4. License: MO license — submit without license OK, requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state); IL license must be in hand at time of submittal; Compact — must match permanent residence, otherwise submit for update and confirm ETA 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s; rotating shifts 0700-1730, 0700-1730 late, and 1000-2030 close as needed; every other weekend required; rotating on-call required including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; call is 1-2 nights/week, every 2nd-4th weekend; 40 guaranteed hours; no block scheduling 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; 7+ days requires manager approval, including any holiday RTO; no new RTO after submission; no RTO allowed the first week of an assignment 9. Returning Staff: 18 months tenure with a 3-month break in service required; permanent employees across BJC and/or Saint Lukes must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler; mid-contract cancellations to accept another BJC assignment are not allowed; if a contract is canceled at the contractor's discretion, they must complete an assignment elsewhere before being considered for a new BJC opportunity 10.
