• Charting: EPIC experience required
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
==========================
• Clinicians may work at only one RWJBH site and must be submitted exclusively to the site where they are fully committed to work; once submitted and approved, a site-specific requisition ID will be assigned, and location changes will not be permitted thereafter.
• (2) Clinical Leadership references from assignments within the last 2 years (Charge nurse not accepted).
SEPARATION RULES

• Prior RWJBH staff must be separated for a minimum of (6) months.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
==============================
• 2 years of recent ICU experience
– Burn experience HIGHLY preferred (Will consider recent critical care + BICU))
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ITTC- De-escalation Training (Refer to submittal instructions)

• Burn Care- Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia; Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias; Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• IV therapy; Accessing/Managing Ports; Blood Product Administration; Central line care/management; PICC line management; Phlebotomy; Starting and maintaining IVs
• Respiratory: Care of Ventilated Patient; High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC); Suctioning (ETT, NT); Ventilator Management
• Medications: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade; Continuous IV sedation; Emergency Medications; IV insulin protocols; Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring; Titrate Cardiac & Vasoactive drips
• Intake and Output monitoring; Urine output assessment; Infection Prevention; Isolation Precautions/PPE

• Acute/Chronic Renal failure; CVVHD/CRRT; Hemodialysis; AV Shunts/Fistulas; Solid organ transplant; Delayed graft function; Immunosuppressed patients; Liver failure; Abdominal compartment syndrome
• CVA/Acute Stroke; EVD; Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun; ICP monitoring; Lumbar drains; Spinal cord injury; TBI
UNIT DETAILS
============================
• Ratios: 1:1-3 critical care; 1:6+ if floated
• 12-bed Burn ICU and an 18-bed step-down unit caring for pediatric through geriatric patients
• Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception. Ratios vary based on census, patient acuity and staffing.
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Parking: Shuttle service is available from Parking Lot 7 to the Medical Center; please request a stop at the Cooperman Pavilion entrance. Do not park in the Visitor Parking Lot.
