- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 18 months minimum but refer to job description for exceptions 2. Cases: Required - Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization, Myocardial; Preferred - Brain Scan, Renal Flow, SPECT 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT N or NMTCB required; NMTCB or CNMT required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner documentation; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: Weeknight and weekend call required; block scheduling; patient ratio 3:1 days 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday or less; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated break after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; accepted for Surgical Services, Allied, IU Clinics at lower rate; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER 11.
