- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of MRI experience required; first-timers accepted 2. Cases: General MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac 3. Certifications: BLS required; ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required (either specialty cert accepted); radiation badge MUST be provided by agency — MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers 4. License: State license is NOT required; however, for RN positions MUSC prioritizes SC license in hand; candidates with pending license considered with proof of application or confirmation of SC walk-through process; traveler will not be cleared until SC license is issued/active 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; Sectra preferred 7. Shifts/Call: M-F 5x8s (12:30p-9p); will consider 4x10s (10:30a-9p) or 3x12s (8:30a-9p); Saturday coverage 8a-4p on rotating weeks; no call required; float potentially between Clements Ferry and East Cooper; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days or less of non-holiday RTO may qualify for auto-offer; 7+ days and/or holidays require facility approval and may delay the process 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm staff (including PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler 10.
