- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required; must support at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years 2. Cases: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Brain perfusion, Carotid, Cervical, Chest without and/or with contrast, Colorectal studies, Enterography study, Head without and/or with contrast, Heart (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), Lumbar, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Thoracic, Vascular chest (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Vascular CTA, 3D rendering, Multiplanar reconstruction, Emergency Department 3. Certifications: ARRT CT required; BLS required; ACLS noted (asterisked); all copies required at time of submittal 4. License: MD license required (preferred in hand at submittal); compact license also accepted for MD locations; DC license in hand required for DC locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12, 1900-0830, Friday-Sunday; no call or float required 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment; RTO must be included at time of submittal and cannot be changed once sent to manager; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler; candidates may only be submitted to one MedStar location at a time 10.
