- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: GE, Head without and/or with contrast, Level 1 Trauma, Stroke; Trauma Level I experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R required; must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: Kansas and Missouri licenses (or compact) required in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted; travelers must have both states or compact or will result in a cancel 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; complete Epic training module first; RNs may choose Epic test-out option or Epic module; 3 hours of pre-start non-billable EMR modules required 7. Shifts/Call: Weekends required; no on-call required; floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities; guaranteed hours of 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must match regular shift length) 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; anything over 7 days must be sent for approval; any holiday RTO must also be sent for approval 9. Returning Staff: 18-month tenure with a 3-month break in service required; permanent employees across BJC and/or Saint Lukes must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler; contractors who cancel a BJC contract must complete an assignment elsewhere before being considered for a new BJC opportunity; mid-contract cancellations to accept another BJC assignment are not permitted 10.
