- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; 1st time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Code Stroke, Trauma; daily caseload 150-200 scans; 4 rooms 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT) required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Visage preferred; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days; 07:45pm-20:15am; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; no call; no float 8. RTO: No weekend RTO; up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing; call offs or additional RTO could result in cancel and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (Perm/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name and dates employed; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Locals within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; travel pairs allowed but must be on different units and disclosed 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable; Acute Care approximately 8-10 hours; Non-Acute approximately 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually; conducted online via Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge 13. Special Equipment: Siemens FORCE scanner required - do not submit if no Siemens FORCE experience; also GE (S3000 and Sequoia) Critical: Candidate must go into lab within 48 hours after signing; all testing must be completed within 48 hours. Start date confirmed by Novant on the Tuesday prior to start week; travelers may begin Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of first week and must be fully available. Missing any portion of orientation may result in delayed or canceled start. Interview required before manager will extend offer - provide candidate availability for next 72 hours at submission.
