- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required 2. Cases: Hematology, Blood Bank, and Chemistry all required; Phlebotomy preferred but not required 3. Certifications: State MLT and BLS required; all required certifications must be obtained prior to start 4. License: Tennessee state licensure/certification required to work as an MLT in TN; all clinical staff must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date (results required prior to start) 5. Education: Certification/Licensure required to work as an MLT in TN 6. EMR: MedHost (EHR on unit); MedHost and Safe Trace experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 weekly guaranteed hours; 12 weekend hours; call requirements: none 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be 60 miles or greater to be considered as travel; local rate is $37.80 11.
