- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Core Lab and Blood Bank 3. Certifications: ASCP & LA License required; must be in hand 4. License: Valid LA License or Compact License required at submission; cannot accept pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred and required 7. Shifts/Call: Alternating shifts - 7 days on, 7 days off, Wednesday through Tuesday; weekend coverage required every other weekend 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Perm staff must leave health system for 1 year before eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: No first time travelers; travelers can only submit to 1 campus at a time 11. Background: Any license hits must be disclosed at submission with personal statement 12. Modules: Non-billable; Allied 2-4 hours; completed pre-start, vary by specialty, recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Caribbean Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Hospital Clinical Laboratory Experience Required. Trauma Level II Experience Preferred.
