Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; MUST HAVE ORTHO EXPERIENCE 2. Cases: Orthopedic, Neuro spine, Med-surg, Post-surgical patients 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIH required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; first-time travelers accepted WITH EPIC EXPERIENCE 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, every other weekend required 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required, non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13.
