- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; experience with pediatric patients required; must have experience from a large pediatric hospital 2. Cases: Typical medical/surgical ICU patients that are non-cardiac (Respiratory, Trauma, Neuro, etc.) 3. Certifications: Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association required; Current valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required; Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Critical Care Nurse preferred 4. License: Current valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license required 5. Education: Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing required 6. EMR: Previous experience with EPIC preferred; Charting System Experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 1:2 (day/night/weekend); Weekend coverage every other weekend; Call not specified 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off requests 9. Returning Staff: Do not accept former permanent employees as travel 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius from facility; locals not accepted 11.
