Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have ortho experience 2. Cases: Orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, post-surgical patients 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIH required; ACLS preferred; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; unit accepts first-time travelers with Epic experience 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 36 or 48 hours available; every other weekend required 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days max (no holidays); must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO first week; no RTO after booking allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles offered lower local rate; float required to other med surg units and affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Not specified 12.
