- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: MS/Tele, PCU level patients, Emergency Department holding patients awaiting inpatient beds with any medical/surgical adult diagnosis 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS preferred; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift, 36 hours only, 13-week contracts accepted; no call required; every other weekend required 8. RTO: 7 days maximum auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; travel pairs allowed but must be on different units and disclosed 11. Background: Not specified 12.
