- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Pre/Post Cath, Pre/Post PPM & AICD, Watchmen Procedures, Stress Tests, Management of Arterial & Venous sheaths, TIA population, Carotid Stent Patient Management, Card-Tele, Management of Arrhythmias, Management of cardiac drips 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS and NIH required 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic is most common; Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12 HR NIGHTS; 4 weekend shifts per each 6 week schedule; floating required as needed to similar units 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less (no holidays); more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health or New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate 11.
