- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for required prior to travel; 18 months recent Stepdown experience required 2. Cases: HVTI-Stepdown unit; PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required 3. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required; must be active with nothing pending 4. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required in hand at submission; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: D/N rotating shift 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm; 3x12's only; must work at least every other holiday 8. RTO: All RTO must be discussed during interview and included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for 1 year from previous end date; one reference from manager/ANM/supervisor/director in specialty required 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED 11. Background: Background hits reviewed but will not accept traveler with open case; BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract 12. Modules: Average 6-15 hours pre-start; 4 hours billable, additional time non-billable; recorded via Silkroad; ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completed during orientation 13. Travel Experience: 18 months recent Stepdown experience required (travel experience will suffice) 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
