Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1:3 with trachs and ventilator management required 2. Cases: Non-titrated cardiac drip management (Amiodarone, Milrinone, lasix, cardizem (titrated), dopamine and dobutamine) required 3. Certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS (AHA only) required; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Minimum 2 weekends/month; float within areas of competency (med/surg, tele, obs) 8. RTO: Single set up to 7 consecutive days will be considered; always needs facility approval 9. Returning Staff: If previous perm traveler, 1 year and needs facility approval 10. Travel/Local: No locals within 50 miles accepted 11. Background: Candidates with license hits accepted case by case; facility must be informed with submission 12. Modules: Modules are not required 13. Travel Experience: Will consider first time travelers with PCU experience with 1:3-4 ratios 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs not provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16. Special Equipment: Ventilators, HFNC, Bipap Critical: Labs must be completed within 24 hours of signing contract. 24 hour orientation. 2 supervisor references preferred.
