- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1-2 years required; telemetry experience required 2. Cases: Intermediate medical patients and surgery overflow (TURPS, lap chol, lap appy, lap hernia, eye surgery, oral surgery, diabetic teaching, wound care) 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience; choice of Epic test out option or Epic module 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ requires approval along with any holiday RTO) 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent BJC/Saint Luke's employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius requirement; no local candidates accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 10-15 hours due Monday 1 week prior to start; 3 hours pre-start EMR modules (non-billable); Infusion Pump and Glucometer training due Sunday before start 13.
