- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in the past year 2. Cases: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri or compact in hand at time of submission required for floating 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; 3 hours of pre-start EMR modules required; RNs can choose EPIC test out option or EPIC module 7. Shifts/Call: 1:5 patient ratios; 8 weekend shifts per contract; no on-call required 8. RTO: 7 day maximum RTO 9. Returning Staff: Tenure policy requires 18 months with 3-month break in service 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius considered local; locals not accepted 11. Background: Drug screen diluted or positive results in cancellation and 6-month waiting period 12. Modules: 10-15 hours of modules due Monday 1 week prior to start; Infusion Pump and Glucometer training due Sunday prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, PICC lines, central lines, wound vacs, high flow nasal cannula Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Two references from past year required (one supervisor level or above). Float required between MSI units and facilities. Documents due 2 Fridays before start date.
