- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will consider nurses with 1+ years recent unit experience; first time travelers reviewed by experience 2. Cases: Medical Surgical unit; must have MS/Tele experience for floating to MS/Tele floors 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must pass EKG exam; must have MS/Tele competencies 4. License: SC license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: 1-year minimum EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 1900-0730 Nights 3x12; floating required upon need; weekend coverage required; patient ratios 1:5 days, 1:5-6 nights 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Cannot extend for 4th consecutive contract; must convert to employee after third consecutive 13-week contract or take minimum 6-month separation 10. Travel/Local: Must be 100+ miles from every Prisma facility for full rate; 90-99.9 miles accepted at 10% reduction; Night shift exception: 50+ miles from contracted campus 11.
