- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Experience with Ortho/Neuro-Stroke, Cardiac Tele required; wide range including medicine, Neuro, Burn, orthopedic/surgical, rehab 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; pass/fail fill in the blank tele test required 4. License: Compact accepted with requirements; pending license not accepted 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required (HARDSTOP) 7. Shifts/Call: 3-12s Nights 1900-0730; no on-call required; weekend coverage every other required 8. RTO: Minimal; cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks; required to work all scheduled shifts 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; first-timers not accepted (HARDSTOP) 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed pre-start; RN 5-6 hours; additional 6 hours for WA suicide prevention if working with MSL 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; no first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs; light blue provided on unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Peripheral nerve catheters preferred - high volume on ortho floors Critical: Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Float pool position requiring floating to all acute care units including behavioral health. May split 12-hour shifts (4 hours one unit, 8 hours another). Two supervisory references required at submittal.
