Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission (18 months minimum per facility policy) 2. Cases: General Surgery & Bariatrics, GYN, Urology, ENT, Ortho, Plastics, Spine, Robotics, Thoracic, PV and Pediatric surgical services 3. Certifications: BCLS required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner required 7. Shifts/Call: Wed-Fri nights; 5-8 12-hour call shifts per 13-week contract; orient on day shift 1-2 weeks 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Former IU employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local and accepted at lower rate for surgical services positions 11. Background: Must disclose policy details prior to submission for approval 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First timer OK 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
